What is the Best Robotic Pool Cleaner? -Wybot Review

I've spent many, many hours working on my pool for my family, trying to keep it up and keep it clean and keep nice for everybody. And now with this device, I can't see how this is going to not make my life a whole lot easier. I'm going to show you the new robotic pool cleaner. I just got from, Wybot.

Details of the Wybot and How it Works

I'm super excited about this new pool vacuum I just got. I've been looking at these for a while and have been very interested in trying them. So this is a hook that you can put on your aluminum extender pole. When the device is about to run out of battery, it'll go over to the side and of the wall and you use this hook to pull it up out of the pool.

There is a black looping plastic latch that goes on top of the device. We will use the extender pole to hook and pull it up out of the water when it's done. And when it's time to recharge the battery, here is the little charging cable to charge the battery. Now it says that the ideal pool for this has about a square footage of about 500 square feet. So I believe my pool would fit that description. quite well, I have a 24-foot above-ground pool, so that's close to 500 square feet. You can check colors and prices here.

Scrapers Will Kick Up the Particles from the Bottom of the Pool

Some little black rubber scrapers go on the bottom of the Wybot robotic pool vacuum. They go on the bottom of the device to help the cleaning process. Some holes are hard to see underneath where the scrapers snap into but just keep at it and you can get them to snap in where they belong. Just push both sides in and you'll feel it catch and snap into place.

Charging the Wybot is easy to do. There's a black charging cord that plugs into the bottom of the cleaner and plugs the other side into a wall outlet. There's a solid red light right that will show that the Wybot is not charged. Whenever that light turns green, that means we have a full charge. Once the green light comes on then just unplug it and you are ready to go.

Once I went outside to my pool, I could see that I got just a few leaves on the bottom. I have also been battling a good bit of algae problems this pool season. I've got the algae under control now, but I'm still getting algae on the bottom of the pool. I don't know whether or not, the Wybot is necessarily intended to suck up the algae, but we're gonna go ahead and see what happens.

Time to Use the Wybot Robotic Pool Cleaner

I've got a few leaves right there on the bottom of the pool and the scrapers on here should be able to stir those up and kick up that algae a little bit. The first thing we need to do is submerge the cleaner and hold it and let it kind of fill up with water first. Let all the air bubbles flow up to the top and then they will stop and you'll know the Wybot has filled with water as needed. Flip it over while it's still underwater and I'm going to push the red button underneath the Wybot to turn it on and then see what happens.

Wybot does not Suck Up Powerdery Algae on the Bottom

You can see it's kicking up the algae that's on the bottom of the pool. I'm not necessarily expecting it to be successful in picking up the algae. We're going to let this thing run. Now, when it gets low on battery, it'll come near the edge or sides of the pool. I have the hook that was included, and I have my aluminum extender pole on the fence over there. All we're going to do is put that little hook attachment, and we'll be able to pull it right up out of the water. Then we'll open it up and we'll take a look at the inside of the Wybot and see what happened, and see what it collected.

That Wybot was going strong all across the bottom of the pool so I was excited to see what it was going to scoop up for me. I have a pool suction vacuum device for the algae that bounces all around randomly across the pool floor.

A Jet Stream of Water Pushes it Across the Pool Bottom

When the Wybot robotic vacuum hits the wall of the pool, it just goes in the other direction. So when we get in the water sometimes and swim, we kick up the green algae on the bottom. And a lot of times that'll filter through the pump. You know, it's annoying to have to get the vacuum hose out and vacuum all the time. The other pool vacuum that I have is a random cleaner that connects to my pool filter and it just kind of hops around, sucking up stuff from the bottom of the pool while it makes a clicking noise.

I've never had something like this Wybot before so this is exciting that work is being done for your pool with minimal effort. One of the other problems is I have this ladder in the pool right here, and that frequently causes my automatic, vacuum that pops around the pool through the suction, which causes it to get hung up sometimes. You can check prices on the Wybot here.

The Wybot is kicking up that algae on the bottom to at least get it running through the filter system where the sand in the filter ball can capture the algae. When the Wybot is finished running which lasts about an hour it will go to the side and it'll stop. Then get the hook and insert it on the extender pole and then scoop up the Wybot. Hold it there for a bit and let the water pour out of it. Then you'll need to turn the cleaner off by pushing the button underneath again.

The Wybot pool cleaner has these little flaps on the top of it that open up and then blows a little jet stream of water that propels the device across the bottom of the pool. When it hits the wall and the other side and it starts going the other direction, then the other little flap pumps open, and the jet stream of water squirts out that way. So it just goes back and forth across the pool.

Tiny Stuff Caught in the Wybot

After my initial running of the Wybot then all I needed to do was to open it up. It was easy to figure out. Just open the flaps on the sides of the Wybot and then pull it open. So we've got some hair from possibly my daughter and my wife. You could see the leaves and a bunch of little insects along with little sand particles. It picked up all kinds of little, tiny, trash things that were hard to see. There weren't a lot of leaves in the pool but we got a bunch of little bugs and other things.

The Wybot is good for picking up little particles off the bottom of the pool. It also contains a filter that is effective in getting fine particles cleaned from the pool water. I also like that the filter is a sturdy material that will not easily tear or puncture. After opening up the Wybot robotic vacuum pool cleaner, then pour all the debris and junk out and wash it all out.

The Benefits of the Wybot Robotic Pool Cleaner

The benefits of this product are many. It's easy and convenient and it saves a lot of time and energy. I think everyone can agree that saving time and energy is a good thing. Instead of spending all kinds of time, manually cleaning your pool all the time. This product has a modern, lightweight design. It only weighs 7.9 pounds. So that's not much at all. Just about anybody can pick that up pretty easily. It's cordless. You don't have to worry about the device getting tangled up in cords underneath the pool or in the water or anything like that.

It's also available in two colors. We have the blue one and there's also a green one. There are dual motors in this device. It has high-speed motors with enhanced suction power. So it's ideal for cleaning an area of about 500 square feet, which is about what I have here in my pool. So that worked out well for me here. The result is a clean and fresh pool, and now you don't need to do it yourself or hire a pool cleaner. Nobody wants to pay money for somebody to come to clean their pool. It gets really hot outside. People would rather be in their pools rather than get all hot and sweaty, trying to keep their pools clean for their families.

I can see how this is going to be a huge, huge help for me and my above-ground pool care and maintenance. I feel confident that you can't go wrong with this pool cleaner. I'm excited about using this Wybot pool cleaner and excited to be able to be a part of helping promote this product. And I can't see why it wouldn't help you as well at your house.
